More international passengers head to Inverness

A new Heathrow to Inverness daily service by British Airways will add 83,500 seats and £17 million a year, bringing more international visitors to this picturesque city in Scotland.

The service will provide greater opportunity to access markets in Europe and to trade with the world. Business, tourism, and exports are all expected to benefit.

Heathrow manages 34% of all UK trade by value and in 2017 handled 35,000 tonnes of Scottish salmon, worth £223 million to the economy of the UK.
