Weed not welcome at Denver International Airport

Although some airports in the US are not batting an eyelid when encountering marijuana in your baggage, that is not the case at Denver International Airport (DIA). The policy is that possession or consumption on airport property is not permitted.

Federally it is illegal to transport weed by aeroplane, so that presents a further problem for the absent-minded weed user transiting through DIA.

At some airports like Los Angeles International and Seattle-Tacoma International Airport passengers may carry personal amounts of marijuana onto airport property while other airports may ask passengers to deposit their ‘goods’ into amnesty boxes.
